Man Arrested Over Broadwater Farm Shooting

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a double shooting at Broadwater Farm, Tottenham, on Sunday.

Police were called after shots were heard being fired at around 23:42 on Sunday night.

When police arrived, they found two men, both aged 21, suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the men remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Police have appealed again for anyone with any information in connection with the shooting to contact them.

The investigation continues.

Man Released In Boxer Shooting Investigation
A 22-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the shooting of former British heavyweight boxing champion James Oyebola has been released on bail. The man was arrested in Putney, west London on Tuesday. Meanwhile, another man, who was arrested at Gatwick Airport on Wednesday is continuing to be questioned by police.

Third man arrested over shooting
Police have confirmed that a third man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of two teenagers at a McDonalds restaurant. The 18-year-old is being questioned at a south London police station. The two youths both aged 17 were shot by a gunman at the restaurant in Brixton on September 28.

The gunman who shot dead 32 people at a US college has been described as a loner, whose college work was "disturbing". Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old from South Korea, who had been resident in the US since 1992, was an English student at Virginia Tech who lived on campus.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the March pub shooting in Manchester which left two men dead. The man, who is from south Manchester, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder by armed police at an address in Radcliffe in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Attempted murder inquiry launched after shooting
Gwent Police have launched an attempted murder inquiry following the shooting of two brothers in Abergavenny on Sunday. Police were called to reports of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon on Sunday afternoon. Two men, brothers Gareth Harris, 17, and Anthony Price, 20, were found in the garden of a house, with gunshot wounds to the lower legs.
