Vicky Pryce Stripped Of Award Presented By The Queen
Vicky Pryce, who served eight months in jail for perverting the course of justice, has had an honour awarded to her by the Queen removed.
In 2003 Pryce took speeding penalty points for her ex-husband Chris Huhne, after claiming that she had been driving the car at the time of the incident the points where awarded for.
She was awarded the Companion of the Order of the Bath in 2009 when she was Economics and Joint Head, Government Economic Service, Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
However, following a complaint by Labour MP Andrew Gwynne, Whitehall's honours forfeiture committee have decided to strip her of the award.
Some 100 Suspected War Criminals Thought To Be In UK
Up to 100 suspected war criminals have made applications to UK immigration, the Home Office have revealed, who say that the majority of cases involve people likely already living in the UK.
They say suspects originated from countries including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Rwanda, Serbia and Sri Lanka.
A Freedom of Information request made by the BBC revealed the figures.
Jurors Jailed Over Contempt Of Court
A juror from the trail of an alleged sex offender has been jailed for two months over posts they made on Facebook.
During the trial 21-year-old Kasim Davey, of Palmers Green, north London, posted on the social network that he wanted to "F**k up a paedophile".
Another juror in another trial, 29-year-old Joseph Beard, was also jailed for two months after it was revealed that he was using the internet to research the case he was sitting on.
Both men must serve half of their sentences behind bars.

Stuart Hall In Court Charged With Rape
Veteran broadcaster Stuart Hall, 83, has appeared in court charged with 15 offences of rape relating to two girls. He also faces charges of indecent assault. Hall is currently serving a 30-month jail term for sexually abusing 13 victims over a period of 20 years. He appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court to face the charges.

69-Year-Old Woman Avoids Jail Over Manslaughter Charge
A 69-year-old woman, who strangled her terminally ill former partner, has avoided jail, the BBC has reported. Joyce Evans was found guilty of the manslaughter of former soldier Colin Ballinger, 66, at her home in New Orleans Walk, Islington, north London, last July.

11 Care Workers Sentenced Over Abuse
Six of the 11 care workers who admitted a total of 38 charges of neglect or abuse of patients at a private hospital have been jailed. The five others have been given suspended sentences after BBC Panorama uncovered the acts of abuse.

Langham's Jail Sentence Reduced
Actor Chris Langham is to be freed from jail after he won a four-month reduction from his 10-month jail sentence at the Court of Appeal in London. The 58-year-old Bafta-award winner is expected to be freed from Elmley prison in Kent today.
