12 Years For Man Who Killed And Dismembered Friend

A 47-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for the manslaughter of his David Guy.

Mr Guy's body was dismembered with the torso, legs and pelvis found in two separate locations along Southsea beach in July 2012.

The rest of Mr Guy's body has never been recovered.

The court had heard that Hilder had used his bicycle to dump mr Guy's body parts.

Winchester Crown Court cleared David Hilder, of Rochmond Road, Southsea, of murder, but convicted him of manslaughter. He will serve a minimum term of 12 years.

Teacher convicted of boy's manslaughter jailed for 12 months
A teacher who pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter in relation to the death of a 10-year-old boy who drowned on a school trip has been sentenced to 12 months in jail. Paul Ellis, 42, from Cleveleys, near Blackpool in Lancashire, had pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Max Palmer.

Third Body Found At Bosley Mill Site
A third body has been found at the site of the Wood Flour Mills in Bosley, Cheshire, police have confirmed. Last Friday (17 July), an explosion and fire destroyed the four-storey building, causing it to collapse. Four people were trapped inside the building.
