Man Charged With Murder Of Suitcase Victim
The body of a woman found in a suitcase has been identified as that of 25-year-old Alexandra Kovacs from Hungary.
29-year-old Laszlo Gyarmati, of Finchley, north London, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear before Hendon Magistrates Court.
The body of Alexandria Kovacs was discovered near a sports ground in Hendon, north London, on Sunday.
Police have appealed for witnesses who were in the area or may have seen someone moving a heavy trolley-type case in the area on or after 18 July.
People are asked to call police on 020 8785 8334, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 to remain anonymous.

Arrests Follow Edmonton Murder
Police investigating the murder of 15-year old Negus McLean in Edmonton have today made a further two arrests. A 14-year old boy, and a 16-year old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Police were called at 7.25pm on Sunday 10 April to reports of a stabbing in Westminster Road, north London.

East London Murder Appeal
Detectives have appealed for information about the murder of a woman in Manor Park. Aliza Ahmed Mirza, 18, a student from Ilford, died on Saturday 3 April. Police had been called to reports of a collapsed female. It is believed she was stabbed while in the Forest View Road area. Miss Mirza was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.

Father Appeals Over Paralysed Son's Shooting
The father of a teenager paralysed in a shooting incident has joined investigating officers to urge witnesses to come forward. Speaking from his son's hospital bedside Paul Smith said he knew people had information about those who shot and injured Raphael Smith, but couldn't understand why they had not spoken to police.

Police are appealing for information following a murder in Southwark. Teenager Lyle Tulloch, from Peckham was stabbed at Newall House in Harper Road on Saturday. Lyle, 15, was confirmed dead at the scene despite efforts from emergency services. A post mortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds and haemorrhaging.

Popstar Rachel Stevens has been left "shaken" after a door-step ambush by three men demanding her jewellery. The robbers followed the Strictly Come Dancing runner-up to her Regents Park home, in north London, yesterday afternoon. They are believed to have made off with her engagement ring, a necklace and a watch.
