Investigation Launched Into Soldiers Deaths In Training Exercise
Two Territorial Army soldiers have died during a training exercise on Saturday in the Brecon Beacons.
A third soldier is in critical condition after the incident, which is thought to be link to the weather with Saturday being recorded as the hottest day of the year.
According to the BBC, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) refused to comment on reports the soldiers were taking part in an SAS selection process.
An MoD statement read: "The two servicemen's next of kin have been informed. More information will be released in due course but it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage."
It is understood that the MoD is working with the Dyfed-Powys Police to investigate the incident.
