Police Investigated After Taser Incident Video
A police officer is being investigated following the release of video footage, which reportedly shows the officer kicking a man just moments after he had been Tasered.
The incident occurred on Brighton seafront on Friday evening, with the video brought to the attention of Sussex police on Monday.
It is understood that officers were called to a Sainsbury's on Western Road following a report that a man had pushed a member of staff to the ground when he was caught stealing food.
The man was then tracked down to Brighton sea front.
A police spokesperson said that the man was Tasered in order to carry out a safe arrest.
It is claimed that the video shows one of the officers kick the man forcefully in the leg just after he was Tasered.
An investigation is underway.

Five deny London bomb plot charges
Five men have denied charges over the alleged attempts to carry out bomb attacks on the London transport network last July. Ibrahim Muktar Said, 27, Ramzi Mohammed, 23, Yassin Omar, 24, and Hussain Osman, 27, all from London, denied charges of conspiracy to murder and cause explosions.

Man Dies After Police Taser Use
A man has died in Manchester after being shot by a Taser gun by police. According to the police, the 23-year-old man suffered "a medical episode" after he was shot with the Taser stun gun on Wednesday evening at around 8.15pm.

Police Taser 61-Year-Old Blind Man
A 61-year-old blind man has been Tasered by police who mistook his white stick for a sword. Colin Farmer was stunned by police following reports of a man walking through Chorley with a samurai sword. Ch Supt Stuart Williams, of Lancashire Police, said the force had "deep regrets" and had "clearly put this man through a traumatic experience".
