Rolls-Royce Face US Lawsuit Over Alleged Engine Defects
Two former Rolls-Royce employees are bringing a lawsuit in the US, claiming that the company "cut corners on quality control requirements" and "lied to" customers.
The lawsuit goes on the claim that the car firm "routinely used defective parts designated as 'scrap only'".
The former employees, Thomas McArtor and Keith Ramsey, allege that internal records of defects were hidden from clients, according to reports by the Daily Telegraph and the Financial Times.
However, Rolls-Royce deny the allegations and claim that two of the four claims by the former employee were already thrown out by the judge.
The company are reported to have said that they are confident the lawsuit will be found to be "without merit".
