Two Sun Journalists Arrested In Operation Elveden

A reporter and picture editor from The Sun newspaper have been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit misconduct in public office.

Journalist Jamie Pyatt and pictures editor John Edwards have been arrested alongside a former employee of Broadmoor, in connection with alleged payments of more than £30,000.

The payments were allegedly made to police officers, army personnel and Broadmoor officials in return for information for stories.

The three were arrested by the Met Operation Elveden and are due to appear in court on July 18.
