Daily Mail Agree Payout To Libelled 'Psychic'
The Daily Mail has agreed to pay damages of £125,000 to Sally Morgan, for an article which accused her of "perpetrating a scam" in connection with psychic stage show.
The story in 2011 followed a show in Dublin, at which two audience members thought they had heard members of Morgans team rely information to her.
The article accused Mrs Morgan of using a hidden ear piece within her show to receive information.
Mrs Morgan sued Associated Newspapers, owners of the Daily Mail, for libel.
Hunt Underway For Southampton Hit-And-Run Driver
Police in Warwickshire have launched a hunt for a hit-and-run driver, after eight pedestrians were injured when a silver Renault Clio lost control in a lane .
It is understood that no-one was seriously injured but the pedestrians were forced into a hedge before the car sped off.
The incident happened near the Blue Lias public house in Stockton, Southampton after a custom bike and car show.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Rugby police station on 101.
Woman Dies After Being Hit By Train
A woman has died after being hit by a train at Haddenham and Thame Parkway.
Emergency service were called to the station at around 9am on Thursday morning, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Chat show veteran Parkinson moves to ITV
ITV has signed up BBC chat show veteran Michael Parkinson on a two-year deal, it has emerged today. Mr Parkinson, who has hosted his eponymously-titled programme for 18 years, said that he decided to move to commercial broadcaster ITV after his Saturday night primetime slot was threatened by the return of Match of the Day.

Chris Moyles Leaves Radio 1 Breakfast Show
Radio 1 breakfast show host, Chris Moyles, has announced he will leave the show at the end of September. Presenting the show since 2004 the now 38-year-old became the stations longest serving breakfast show host in 2009. Announcing the news, he said: "We're off. I wanted to let you know. A couple more months of us, then it's someone else's turn.

MMR Vaccination At 92.5%
The level of MMR vaccination in two-year-olds in England is at its highest in the 20 years since it was launched, according to the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC). The latest figures show that 92.2% of two-year-olds have received the jab. The figure however still falls below the World Health Organisation (WHO) set target of 95%.

Tests Show Body Found In Burn To Be Missing Woman
The body of a 51-year-old woman found at a burn near Craignaught farm, Ayrshire, has been confirmed by police as Anne Brown, who was reported missing. Ms Brown was last seen leaving her mother's house in Fenwick around 6pm on Saturday, October 18, with her 20-month-old grandson John, who was later traced.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of making bogus collections in Staffordshire for the family of missing British girl Madeleine McCann. The 33-year-old woman from Chadsmoor in Cannock had been making door-to-door collections in the Johnson Road area of the town, Staffordshire Police said. She was released on bail until June 30.
