Arrests Made In Connection With Deers Head Left In Supermarket

The BBC have reported on the arrest of a man in connection with a severed deers head left at a self service checkout in a Tescos supermarket.

Officers were called to the Tesco store on Radwinter Road, Saffron Waldon, Essex on June 04, where the innards of the animal were also found in an isle.

A 33-year-old has now been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

Ian Brady Banned From Carrying Pens

Following an incident at his secure mental hospital, Moor murderer Ian Brady has been banned from carrying pens.

It has been reported that Brady allegedly carried a pen clenched in knuckles, raising concerns that it could be used as a weapon.

Brady is currently appealing to the mental health tribunal to allow him a transfer to a Scottish facility, where it is understood he hopes to end his life.

28 Years For Man Who Shot Dead Solicitor In His Office

63-year-old Michael Chudley has been jailed for 28 years for the murder of solicitor James Ward.

It is understood that Chudley, a bankrupt businessman, blamed James Ward for the repossession of his home and breakdown of his relationship.

Ward was shot at close range with a shootgun as he sat in his office in Devizes, Wiltshire, in July last year.

British soldier killed in Basra named
The Ministry of Defence has named the soldier who was killed in Basra on Sunday as Lance Corporal Dennis Brady. L/Cpl Brady, 37, from Barrow-in-Furness, was a Royal Army Medical Corps Regular Reservist, attached to the 1st Battalion the Light Infantry. He was serving in Iraq as a reservist after he left the regular Army in 2004.

Ian Brady In Hospital After Fracturing Hip In Fall
Moors murderer Ian Brady has been taken to hospital after suffering two broken bones. Brady, 76, is believed to have fallen and fractured his hip at Ashworth Hospital, the high-security psychiatric institution.

A hearing to decide if Ian Brady can be moved to a prison in Scotland, could see the Moors murderer appear in public for the first time in decades. 75-year-old Brady wants to be moved from Ashworth Hospital in Merseyside to Scotland, where it is understood he hopes to end his life.
