Briton Wins £81m EuroMillions Jackpot

A British ticket-holder has won £81m in Tuesday's EuroMillions jackpot.

The amount is the six largest on the National Lottery Rich List.

The winning numbers were 08, 13, 26, 34 and 38, while the Lucky Stars were 03 and 11.

A spokesman for the National Lottery said: "We've been giving the rest of Europe a chance to win big this year, but Lady Luck is clearly shining back down on the UK once again.

"This new jackpot winning ticket-holder flies into sixth place in the exclusive National Lottery Rich List just behind an anonymous ticket-holder who won £84.4m in May 2010."

According to The Sunday Times Rich List 2012, the EuroMillions win will make the lucky winner the joint 908th richest person in the UK.
