Armed Robbery Fugitive Captured In Spain

Andrew Moran, one of Britain’s most wanted fugitives, will be extradited to the UK following his arrest at a villa in Alicante, Spain.

Four years ago 31-year-old Moran jumped from the dock and escaped during his trial for the armed robbery of a Royal Mail van.

He was later convicted in his absence.

He was first found in Spain in November but managed to evade capture until his arrest at the villa on Friday.

After appearing at court in Madrid, a request for his extradition to the UK was accepted.
