Olympic Stadium To Host RWC Games
London's Olympic Stadium will host five games at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Twickenham will host the opening match of the event on 18 September, with England facing the winner of the Oceania qualifying competition.
The stadium will also host pool games involving South Africa, New Zealand and France as well as the match between Ireland and Italy on Sunday 4 October.
The bronze match, to be played on Friday 30 October, will also be played at the venue.
The tournament, which is held every four years, will be staged across 13 venues, but the only other rugby grounds being used for games are Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, Sandy Park in Exeter and Kingsholm in Gloucester.
Eight football stadiums will host the other fixtures and include the Etihad Stadium, St James' Park, Elland Road and Wembley.
The 13 venues were selected from a long list that was announced in October 2012, while Sandy Park and the Etihad Stadium were added to the list after Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium was withdrawn.
