Man Found Guilty Of Lingerie Firm Founder

A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of the murder of a 78-year-old man in an attack in Sheffield.

Founder of international lingerie firm Panache, Anthony Power was assaulted in High Hazels Park in Darnall last October. He never recovered and died in hospital.

During the trial the court heard that Mr Power was punched and kicked to death by Imran Khan, who took the keys to his Bentley.

The businessman had gone to the park to look for his missing brother Thomas, who suffers from dementia.

When Thomas Power was found, relatives then went looking for Anthony Power, who had not returned.

Simon Waley, prosecuting, told the court he was found by police "covered in blood".

Khan, of Handsworth Road, Darnall, will be sentenced later at Sheffield Crown Court.
