Ten-Year-Old Missing In Manchester

Concern is growing for a 10-year-old boy who has been missing in Manchester for two days.

Shaequan Farquarson was last seen at about 8am on Wednesday on Mauldeth Road, Withington.

He has been described as black, 4ft 10in (1.5m), with black dreadlocks and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue anorak, blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Convicted criminal sought after fleeing hospital
A convicted criminal who escaped from a hospital in Greater Manchester is being sought by police. Christopher McDonagh, 19, from Cheetham Hill, was serving a life sentence for attempted murder at a secure unit at Prestwich Hospital when he was taken to Hope Hospital Accident and Emergency to receive treatment to a wound on his arm.

Baby Snatch Attempt Foiled By Mother
A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

Appeal Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old
Police have appealed for help in tracing missing 14-year-old La'mar Howe, who has been missing for over a week. The teenager was last seen on Wednesday, 07 October. He is described as black, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

The Metropolitan Police have issued an appeal for help in tracing 14-year-old Warren White. The teenager was last seen at 14:30hrs on Sunday, 26 July in the Bermondsey area. He is described as black with short black hair. He has lines shaved into his eyebrows.

GMP Pledge To Promote Officers Mental Wellbeing
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have pledged to challenge mental health stigma and promote positive wellbeing among its officers and staff. The force announced the MIND Blue Light Time to Change initiative at the beginning of it's mental health awareness week.
