Major Cannabis-Growing Operation Uncovered

Drugs worth £200,000 have been seized in Fife.

Officers uncovered a cannabis farm in Glenrothes

Insp Derek Paxton, from Fife Constabulary, said: "The cannabis-growing operation we have uncovered could easily be described as being on an industrial scale.

"We found a very sophisticated operation that clearly has been capable of putting large amounts of illegal drugs onto the streets of Glenrothes and Fife.

"We will deal robustly with illegal drugs that plague our communities."

A man is in custody in connection with the find.
