Balaclava Gang Attack Tottenham Hotspur Fans In French Bar

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been attacked in a bar in Lyon, in France, ahead of their team’s Europa League match.

It is understood that a group in balaclavas gathered outside the Smoking Dog Pub before smashing windows and trying to force their way inside.

Three Tottenham supporters were taken to hospital and others were hurt by flying glass.

The news spread via a Lyon-based journalist, Alexander Aucott, with the foreign office later confirming that it was looking into reports of the attack.
