NOTW Journalists Arrested Over Phone-Hacking
Six former News Of The World journalists have been arrested by Scotland Yard officers in relation to phone hacking.
The journalists, two of whom now work for the Sun, were arrested as part of a new enquiry into the scandal.
The Metropolitan police said it had identified a further suspected conspiracy to intercept voicemail messages by three men and three women between 2005 and 2006.
All of the suspects are journalists or former journalists and all but one were detained in London.
The arrests involved a 46-year-old and 45-year-old man in Wandsworth, a 39-year-old man in Greenwich, a 39-year-old woman in Cheshire, a 33-year-old woman in Islington and a 40-year-old woman in Lambeth.
The group is being interviewed at police stations in London and Cheshire.
Searches are being carried out at each of their homes.
None of those arrested has been arrested before.
"Detectives on Operation Weeting have identified a further suspected conspiracy to intercept telephone voicemails by a number of employees who worked for the now defunct News of the World newspaper," the Met said.
"In due course officers will be making contact with people they believe have been victims of the suspected voicemail interceptions."

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.

French Police Arrest Convicted On-The-Run Rapist
A 56-year-old convicted rapist who went on the run before his trial has been captured in France. Police in Calais arrested George Doulat, from Filey, North Yorkshire, on Monday. In his absence, Doulat was convicted at Bradford Crown Court for the rape, attempted rape and sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman in 2012. He was sentenced to 10 years.

Teenager Arrested Over Rape Of 12-Year-Old Girl
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the rape of 12-year-old girl in east London. Three males lead the girl to a "secluded" end of a street in Walthamstow at around 00:15 on Saturday before two of them attacked her, held her down and raped her.

Journalist Jamie Pyatt and pictures editor John Edwards have been arrested alongside a former employee of Broadmoor, in connection with alleged payments of more than £30,000.
