Old Bailey Bomber Dolours Price Found Dead

Dolours Price, the woman convicted of the 1973 IRA bombing of the Old Bailey, has been found dead at her home in Dublin.

It is understood that her death was sudden and Irish police, Garda Síochána are investigating the circumstance.

Price, who was later a vocal critic of Sinn Féin's peace strategy, was been found dead in her apartment in Malahide, although she had been in general ill health.

A statement from Dolours Price’s family is expected later on Thursday.

Fall in house prices reported
House prices fell by 0.2% in August, according to the latest figures from the Nationwide. The building society said that the rate of annual house price growth had fallen to 2.3%; it’s lowest level in nine years.

Price Fall Underlines Downward House Price Trend
It's official: House prices in England and Wales dropped by 0.4% in December, taking the average price down to £184,469. According to the latest figures from Land Registry, this is the first fall for England and Wales since August 2005 - although three regions have actually bucked the downward trend.
