The arrest follows the court appearance of George Thomson, 29, and Roche Thomson, 24, who have been charged with Mr Leigh's murder.

Appeal For Man Who Murdered Sons

A man who stabbed his two sons to death in a car and then left it burning is to have his case sent to the Appeal Court.

The incident happened in East Dunbartonshire.

46-year-old Ashok Kalyanjee has pleaded guilty to murder.

He was sentenced to life in prison over the deaths of his sons, Paul, 6, and Jay, 3, in May 2008.

The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission says a miscarriage of justice could have been carried out if it is found the man has mental health issues.

Kalyanjee, a tourism student originally from India, admitted killing the boys in Lennoxtown after collecting them from his mother.

The boy's bodies were later found in a burned-out car in the Campsie Fells near Glasgow.

Rothko Vandal Jailed

The man who defaced a Mark Rothko painting at London’s Tate Gallery has been jailed.

Wlodzimierz Umaniec is the co-founder of the 'yellowism' art movement.

The 26-year-old, from Worthing, West Sussex, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued at more than £5,000.

Mr Umaniec daubed paint on the work 'Black on Maroon' on 7 October. He stepped over a barrier and wrote his name and the words "12, a potential piece of yellowism". He then fled from the gallery.

It is thought the painting could take up to 18 months to repair and could cost about £200,000.
