Children Attacked With Metal Bar
Two schoolchildren in the West Midlands have been beaten with a metal bar.
A 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy were attacked by a man on a pathway close to Hobart Road and Wallbrook Primary School playing fields in Tipton.
The incident occurred about 17:40 on Tuesday 20 November.
The children were attacked without provocation and required hospital treatment for head injuries.
Post-Mortem For Ambulance Crash Death
A post-mortem examination will take place later on a woman who died in an ambulance crash while a patient.
The 75-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened in Lincolnshire at about 03:00 on Monday morning.
The crash occurred near the junction with High Ferry Lane on the A16 Boston Road at Sibsey.
Two male ambulance service staff aged 62 and 52, sustained minor injuries.
It is thought it could be weeks before it is known why the ambulance crashed.
Police have appealed for witnesses.

A 79-year-old man has died and a 27-year-old man has been injured in a crash on the A487 in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
The two-car crash occurred between St Davids and Croesgoch at about 18:25 on Monday evening.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the older man died at the scene. The 27-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Dundee Honours Bash Street Kids
Dundee is to honour characters from the Beano comic by naming one of its streets 'Bash Street'.
The Bash Street Kids have been a popular strip from the children’s comic for decades, and are now to be honoured in plans approved by Dundee City Council.
Beano publishers DC Thomson are based in Dundee.
The Bash Street Kids have featured in the comic since 1954 and are said to have been inspired by the pupils of the High School of Dundee.
The plans include a street map of Dundee containing the new Bash Street name on a road in West Marketgait, which currently has no name.

Four men are being questioned by the police after a double shooting left one man dead and a teenager injured in southeast London. Three Men Arrested Over Biker Murder
Three more men have been arrested in connection with the murder of biker Gerry Tobin on the M40 in August. Warwickshire Police confirmed that a 44-year-old man was arrested at his home in Aldermans Green in Coventry, while a 45-year-old man was arrested at his home on a narrow boat moored on the Coventry Canal near to Aldermans Green in Coventry.

Dundee Crack Cocaine Haul
Crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £25,000 has been seized by Tayside Police in Dundee. The Class A drugs were recovered following the search of a van that was stopped on the A90. Two men from London, aged 39 and 23, have since been arrested and charged in connection with the haul.
