Record Sales For Glastonbury 2013

Glastonbury tickets have sold out in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

The record sales were made via the booking website and phone lines.

Thousands of fans reserved up to eight tickets - each costing £205- plus booking fee.

Many had problems getting on to the website or through to the phone number.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis tweeted: "Sorry to everyone who missed out and for any problems you had with the booking site."

Any returned tickets will be put on sale in April 2013.

Tickets for U2 Dublin show sell out in record time
U2's record-breaking run of ticket sales for their forthcoming world tour, continued today with the sell-out of two concerts in Dublin. Over 150,000 tickets sold out in just under an hour for the two shows, which will take place at Croke Park in Dublin on June 24 and 25. The tickets went on sale at 8am this morning, priced between 59.

The latest SRC-KPMG Scottish Retail Sales Monitor has revealed that Scottish sales outpaced its UK counterpart for the month of July. It is thought Andy Murray's triumph at Wimbledon, as well as the sustained period of hot weather combined to give Scotland's high streets their best performance for two years.

Michelin Acquires Tyre Sales Company For £50m
