Boy Found On Tube Tracks
An eight-year-old boy has been discovered trespassing on London Underground tracks.
He was led to safety by a Tube cleaner, who spotted him on the tracks at Stanmore.
The incident occurred last Saturday.
LU operations director Nigel Holness said: "Jubilee line services were disrupted at Stanmore after an eight-year-old boy was spotted trespassing on the railway by a cleaner.
"The cleaner lifted him back on to the platform without injury, where station and train staff stayed with him until police arrived.
"We are very grateful to the cleaning contractor and to our station and train staff for intervening to quickly respond and follow our established procedures to bring the incident to a safe conclusion."

An asylum seeker convicted of stabbing a policeman to death has been jailed for life. Nigerian Ikechukwu Tennyson Obih, 29, stabbed Bedfordshire policeman Jon Henry twice in the chest in Luton on June 11, 2007 as he tried to arrest him. He was told he must serve at least 25 years.

Judges in blackmail case face investigation
Two judges involved in a blackmail trial are to face an investigation by the Office for Judicial Complaints. Immigration judges Mohammed Ilyas Khan, 60, and his female colleague - known only as J - will not be allowed to sit while the investigation takes place. The move follows a trial involving Brazilian cleaner Roselane Driza.

A court has heard how the mother of a 12-year-old autistic boy killed him by making him drink bleach. Satpal Kaur Singh, 44, denied murder and pleaded guilty to manslaughter at the Old Bailey in London. Singh, from Barking in east London, admitted the charge by reason of diminished responsibility.

Man Dies While Trying To Save Another Man From Tube Tracks
A man hit by a tube train while trying to rescue another man who had fallen onto the tracks, has died. Police reported that a 35-year-old, from London, was hit by a Tube train at Old Street Station at about 12:22 on Sunday. He died later in hospital. It is understood he had been attempting to rescue another 32-year-old man who fell onto tracks.

Woman Thrown On Tracks By Youths
A female commuter was thrown onto train tracks by two youths whom she had asked to stop smoking. The victim was admitted to hospital with burns and a suspected broken collar bone after the attack at Farningham Road railway station in Kent, which happened around 7am today.
