Police Hunt Woman Suspected Of Giving Baby A 'Bottle Of Bleach'
A woman in her 50s is suspected of giving an 11-month-old boy a bottle containing bleach as he sat with his mother and grandmother in a McDonald's restaurant in Eltham, south-east London.
Scotland Yard have said the boy swallowed some of the contents and immediately vomited. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been described as stable.
Tests are being carried out on the bottle to find out what it contained as police examine CCTV footage in an effort to find the woman.
The woman is described as heavily built with grey hair, and was wearing black trousers, black trainers, with a long multi-coloured top and a black jacket with white chevron-type markings. She was carrying a maroon bag.
