NI increase could see job cuts
According to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), one-in-five firms could be set to reduce staff in order to pay for the hike in National Insurance contributions.
A survey by the BCC has found that 90% of the 1,000 companies polled expected the NI increase to have an adverse effect on business.

UK Unemployment Drops In Three Months To February
Unemployment in the UK has fallen by 76,000 in the three months to February, down 1.3% on the same period in 2014, new figures from the Office for National Statistics(ONS) have revealed. UK unemployment now stands at 1.84 million, or 5.6%, which the ONS said is in line with forecasts.

Over two thirds of the UK’s street cleaners have faced physical or verbal abuse, while carrying out their job, a new report has claimed. The report, by the British Cleaning Council (BCC), found that some street cleaners had faced attacks with guns, knives and drug needles.

Survey Finds Rise In Beach Litter
A new survey from the Marine Conservation Society has revealed a 6.4% rise in the amount of litter on the UK's coastline. The survey found beaches in Wales had the most litter, followed by England. Beach litter decreased in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
