Man Arrested For Knife Attacks In Hounslow

A man has been arrested in connection with two separate knife attacks in Hounslow.

The women, aged 19 and 26, were cut with a bladed item within 10 days of each other late at night in Hounslow.

The teenager was cut across the neck on 7 August in Hanworth Road while the second victim was cut across her face 10 days later.

An officer in Hounslow thought she recognised the suspect from CCTV on Tuesday and made an arrest.

The man, aged 20, remains in custody in a west London police station.

Police are still urging a male cyclist who came to the aid of the victim in the Hanworth Road incident to call them.

Detectives also want to speak to anyone in the area that has been followed in the last few weeks.
