Radiohead Drum Tech Killed In Stage Collapse
The man killed by the stage collapse at a Live Nation event, in Toronto Canada, has been named as Scott Johnson, a drum technician for Radiohead.
The 33-year-old drum technician, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, was setting up for the band on Saturday when the top part of the stage fell on him.
Radiohead have said they are "shattered" by the death of their "friend and colleague".
"We will miss him very much," said Radiohead's drummer Phil Selway.
"He was a lovely man, always positive, supportive and funny," he went on in a statement on the band's website.
"Our thoughts and love are with Scott's family and all those close to him."
Mr Johnson had worked for other British bands, including Keane and White Lies.
Flying Pickets Singer Brian Hibbard Dies
The actor and performer Brian Hibbard has died at the age of 65 after suffering from prostate cancer.
Born in Ebbw Vale, he became famous as the singer of the chart-topping Flying Pickets before his acting career.
He had parts in the films Twin Town and Rancid Aluminium and appeared in Emmerdale, EastEnders, Coronation Street and the Welsh soap Pobol Y Cwm.
His close friend and fellow actor Boyd Clack said he was a "fantastic actor, fantastic singer and fantastic man".
Tesco To Leave Japanese Market
Tesco has announced that it is to exit the Japanese marketplace.
The UK supermarket group is to leave Japan in a two-stage process that will first see it sell 50% of its Tesco Japan subsidiary to the country's second-largest retail group, Aeon.
Tesco will then invest £40m in the joint venture before its eventual exit from the business. So far, no deadline for when this will happen has been made public.
The UK firm entered Japan in 2003.

Detectives from Newham are appealing for witness, and releasing CCTV stills, following an assault at Tesco Express in Forest Gate. On Wednesday 1 December last year police were called to reports of an assault inside Tesco Express, Romford Road, in East London. At about 11.10am two men entered the shop.
