Petrol Price Drops Could Become Law
Petrol station owners could be forced to drop the price of fuel when wholesale costs are cut.
Transport Secretary Justine Greening is looking at plans to force retailers to pass cuts on to customers.
Although wholesale prices have fallen 10p since April, prices at the pump have only dropped 7p in that time.
Assange's Extradition Appeal Fails
The founder of WikiLeaks is to be extradited to Sweden to face allegations of sexual assault and rape.
Lawyers acting for Julian Assange asked the Supreme Court to block his removal but judges announced they have rejected his attempt to stay in the UK.
The court voted by a majority of five to two to dismiss Assange's appeal.
Assange is wanted in Sweden over accusations of raping one woman and sexually coercing and molesting another in 2010, while visiting Stockholm to give a lecture.
A European arrest warrant has been issued against him.
But Assange said the allegations were politically motivated, as his website has published leaked diplomatic information.
Assange has been given 14 days in which to consider the ruling before deciding on his next step, which could be a re-opening of the case.
Light Make-Over For Tower Bridge
A system of LED lights has been installed on London’s Tower Bridge ahead of the Diamond Jubilee and summer Olympics.
A total of 5,000 metres of cable laced along the bridge allows new LED lights to glimmer and change colour.
The system is expected to stay in place for 25 years.
