Isle Of Dogs Shooting Witness Appeal
Detectives investigating the shooting of German Gorbuntsov on 20 March continue to appeal for information to trace a suspect.
The suspect described as white, 6ft tall and of slim build, and wearing a dark hooded top was seen running from Byng Street away from Westferry Road, believed through Bellamy Close, towards the Marsh Wall area.
Officers now believe the weapon used in the shooting was a pistol.
Police were called at approximately 19:30hrs to reports of the shooting.
A man was shot a number of times as he entered a block of flats. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to hospital. His condition is described as critical but stable.
Detectives from the Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating and are treating the shooting as attempted murder. They are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information about the incident.
They are still keen to speak to the driver of a Hackney cab, who they believe picked up the victim, 45, in the area of Bishopsgate, EC2, at around 19.00hrs before dropping him off in Byng Street, E14, shortly before 19.30hrs.
The shooting is not thought to be gang-related or linked to any other incidents in Tower Hamlets. Officers retain an open mind regarding the motive for the attack at this time.

Shooting Incident At House In Berkshire
A man has been shot in Berkshire as he opened his front door. It is understood that around 6pm on Sunday, two men knocked on the door of the property in Swancote Green, Easthampstead. The victim, who is said to be in his 30s, opened the door and was shot by one of the men. The suspects then fled the scene in the direction of Lyn Crescent.

Man Arrested After Five-Year-Old Is Injured In Shooting Incident
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old boy. The child was shot and seriously injured at his home in Essex. The boy has been taken to the Royal London Hospital at around 13.20 on Sunday. His injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.

Three-Year-Old Girl Survives Hertfordshire Shooting Incident

Police were called to a house in Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday night around 9:40pm and found the victims - a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 33 and 52. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
