Couple Arrested Over Baby's Death

A Northampton couple have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a seven week-old baby.

According to a report by the Beeb the pair, aged 23 and 20, were arrested following the death of Jamie Kightley, of Far Cotton, last month.

It is understood that the baby died on March 17 and that the couple were arrested five days later.

Investigation into the baby's death are still ongoing but reports by the broadcaster suggest that the cause of death was a severe head injury.

The man and woman will remain in custody as the investigation continues.
