Pair Quizzed Over Child Murder
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a four year-old boy.
According to reports a 26-year-old woman and a man aged 32 were arrested after the child was found unconscious at his home in the Holbrooks area of Coventry.
It is believed that one of the arrested pair is the boy’s mother.
When the boy was discovered he was not breathing and was taken to hospital where he died. It has been confirmed the child was known to the city's social services.
A post-mortem examination revealed the boy died as a result of a head injury and the man and woman were arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday evening.

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.

Man Charged Over Stockwell Shooting
A 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Stockwell Road. On Saturday Anthony McCalla, of Oakdale Road, south west London appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court charged with the attempted murder of Thusha Kamaleswaran, 5, and Roshan Selvakumar, 35.

A court has heard how the mother of a 12-year-old autistic boy killed him by making him drink bleach. Satpal Kaur Singh, 44, denied murder and pleaded guilty to manslaughter at the Old Bailey in London. Singh, from Barking in east London, admitted the charge by reason of diminished responsibility.

21-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Baby Boy
A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an 11-week-old boy in Oxfordshire. Jordan Saxton is accused of fatally injuring the boy at a property in Faringdon. The baby boy was found with head injuries in the early hours of 17 November last year. The child died a short time later in hospital.
