Pregnant Teen Robbed At ATM
The hunt is on for two teenage youths who grabbed cash from a pregnant girl after she'd withdrawn money from a Gateshead cashpoint.
The incident happened just after 10pm on Friday, January 27 outside the Coop, Tower Court in Dunston. The girl was walking away from the ATM when she was approached from behind by the pair who snatched the money and ran away.
The girl was left very shaken by the incident and checked at hospital for pains. She was otherwise unharmed.
Police believe the pair may have been hanging around the area of the cashpoint for some time and potentially been seen by other customers.
They are described as youths, aged around 17-years-old.
Anyone who saw two young lads acting suspiciously in the area or knows who they is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Girl, Six, Bitten By Police Dog
A six-year-old girl has been bitten by a police dog in Manchester, it has been reported. It is understood the officers were chasing a suspect at the time of the incident. Police were pursuing a man who was running away after a stolen car crashed into a wall in the Newton Heath area of the city.

An 11-month-old baby has died after being mauled by a pet dog, police in Lancashire have said. The baby girl, from Emily Street in Blackburn, died in hospital at about 23:00 on Monday. Police have arrested a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident.
