Tony Blair Godfather To Murdoch's Daughter
It has emerged that the former Prime Minister Tony Blair is Godfather to the daughter of News Corporation boss, Rupert Murdoch.
The shock revelation is to appear in an interview carried out by Vogue with Murdoch's wife, Wendi Deng, part of which was leaked on Monday.
The interview reveals a previously unknown connection between both men, while Tony is described as one of the media mogul's "closest friends".
Tony Blair is so far refused to confirm the allegations.
Both men are believed to have struck a relationship after Blair attended a News Corporation Conference in 1995 before leading the Labour Party to Government. It is widely believed that the Labour Party's success in 1997 was due to support Blair had won from Murdoch and his papers, such as The Sun and The Times.
Murdoch's nine-year-old daughter Grace was baptised a few weeks before Easter of 2010, shortly before the last general election.
The ceremony is believed to have taken place on the banks of the Jordan, at the spot where Jesus is believed to have baptised.
News Corporation are currently at the centre of the Phone Hacking scandal, during which questions were asked about he closeness of the relationship between Murdoch and those in office at number 10.
Rupert Murdoch attended an investigative hearing where he revealed he had often been invited to 10 Downing Street "through the back door" by Blair, Brown and Cameron.
The relationship between Blair and Murdoch is being linked to Labour's relaxed approach to News Corp's take-over operations.

In the latest round of the Leveson inquiry, media mogul Rupert Murdoch has offered his most complete apology yet for his shortcomings in the News of the World phone-hacking scandal. Admitting the affair was a "serious blot on my reputation", he said he had been "misinformed and shielded" from what was going on at the paper.
