Man Charged With Murder Of Chatham Woman

A man has been charged with the murder of a 32-year-old woman who was found dead at her home in Chatham earlier this month.

Jennie Banner was found dead at her flat in New Road on August 19.

Marcus Coates, 43, of Ernest Way, Chatham, was charged with murder on August 21.

He is due to appear before Medway magistrates court today.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case on Friday was released on Saturday without charge.

Man Faces Baby Murder Charge
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a four-month-old baby girl. Craig Jamieson, 28, from Scotscoun, appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody. Mr Jamieson was arrested on Friday, shortly after the baby died in Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital, after being taken from her home in Partick.
