Cameron Pledge To Fix 'Broken Society'

Prime Minister David Cameron has announced a review of Government policies following England's riots in order to address the "moral collapse" in society.

The Prime Minister has unveiled new plans to tackle anti-social behaviour, including plans to deal with "problem" families, and improvements for parenting and education and called for an "all-out war" on gangs.

In what has been called his "fightback" address, Mr Cameron referred to the recent outbreak of rioting, looting and arson in areas including London, Manchester, Merseyside and Bristol as a "wake-up call for our country".

He highlighted a number of social problems including children with absent fathers, schools without discipline and communities that have lost control as contributing to this "broken society".

However, Labour leader Ed Miliband said that "lasting solutions" were needed and expressed concern about the implementation of "knee-jerk gimmicks".
