Amy Breaks Through American Charts
Amy Winehouse's Back To Black has re-entered the American charts at number nine a week after her sudden death.
According to music trade publication Music Week, the album sold 37,000 in the past number of days while, her 2003 debut Frank also re-entered the Billboard 200 at number 57.
In the UK, the deluxe edition of her most recent album along with the Back to Black/Frank double album were all in the top 10 bestsellers midweek.
The jazz singer has seven individual tracks in the top 40 of the official midweek singles chart.
Her song Back To Black is the highest placed of those, with Rehab, Tears Dry On Their Own and Love Is A Losing Game all in the top 30.
Large and small bands throughout the country have been performing covers of her songs in tribute to Amy's untimely death. During a concert last night Mark Ronson performed a number of her songs at a show in London.
The British producer and songwriter, who produced her most successful album, invited members of her backing band on stage for a version of Valerie.
Mark Ronson played the same song at the start of the gig with the man who penned the track on vocals, Zutons' singer Dave McCabe.
"She made brilliant music, more than I'll make in my entire life," he said.

Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Road Accident
North Wales Police have appealed for witnesses to a serious road accident on Sunday. A woman has been left with "significant injuries" after two vehicles crashed on the B4421 between Newborough and Llangaffo at about 20:00 on Sunday. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number, 101.
