Bellfield Found Guilty Of Milly's Murder
A former nightclub bouncer has been found guilty of the murder of Milly Dowler.
Milly, 13, went missing while walking home from school on 21 March 2002 in Walton-on-Thames in Surrey.
Her body was found six months later in Hampshire.
Following a trial at the Old Bailey Levi Bellfield, 43, was convicted of her murder.
He denies the charge.
In 2008 Bellfield was convicted of murdering two young women in west London and attempting to murder a third.

New Leads In Milly Dowler Inquiry
Police investigating the murder of Surrey teenager Milly Dowler have revealed that they are pursuing 97 new leads following a renewed appeal. The fresh appeal for information was made following the conviction of Levi Bellfield for the murder of two women and the attempted murder of a third.

Royal British Legion Cuts Ties With NoW
Following revelations that the phones of murder victim Milly Dowler and bereaved military families were hacked, the Royal British Legion has suspended ties with the News of the World (NoW). Gen Sir David Richards, the Charity Chief of the Defence Staff has described the claims as "disgusting".

Cameron Promises Phone Hack Investigation
Following revelations that the phone of murder victim Milly Dowler was hacked, the Prime Minister has promised a full investigation. A public enquiry will be set up investigating the alleged hacking by the News of the World.

Murdered teenager Milly Dowler's sister Gemma has been named Cosmopolitan's Women Of The Year. She was named Ultimate Family Girl at the magazine's awards ceremony in central London. Miss Dowler was often seen with her parents as they saw Milly's killer, Levi Bellfield, jailed for life for her murder in 2002.

A man accused of murdering Surrey schoolgirl Milly Dowler is due to go on trial at the Old Bailey. Levi Bellfield, 42, denies kidnapping and murdering the 13-year-old in Walton-on-Thames in March 2002. Milly Dowler disappeared as she walked home from a railway station after school. She had just called her father to say she was on her way home.
