Man Killed In Bexleyheath Collision Named
A man who died in a road traffic collision has now been identified. On Sunday at 8.17pm police were called to reports of a maroon TVR vehicle in collision with a lamppost in Bourne Road in Bexleyheath. Police, London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London Fire Brigade (LFB) attended and the male front seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. He has now been identified as Fabio Andrea Casthano De Jesus, 23, from Crayford Way, Dartford. Detectives from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating. A post mortem was held at Princess Royal Hospital yesterday. The cause of death was given as multiple injuries. The driver, 45, was taken by air ambulance (HEMS) to hospital. He is now in a stable condition but remains in hospital.Detective Sergeant Gordon Wallace, Road Death Investigation Unit, said: "Bourne Road was still fairly busy at 20:17hrs and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the actual collision or anything just prior to the collision to contact the police."
Arrests In Counterfeit Identity Documents Investigation
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Services' Fraud Squad have today arrested three people following a proactive intelligence led investigation into the supply of counterfeit identity documents online that could potentially be used to commit fraud. With assistance from uniformed officers and rapid entry teams, detectives from the Fraud Squad searched one residential address in Altrincham, Cheshire; one residential address in Coulsden, Surrey; and one residential address and one business premises in Bournemouth, Dorset. A 29-year-old man was arrested in Altrincham, he was taken to a police station in Manchester; a 40-year-old man was arrested at the address in Coulsdon and was taken to a police station in central London; and a 44-year-old man was arrested at the residential address in Bournemouth - he was taken to a police station in Dorset. They were all arrested on suspicion of producing and supplying articles for use in fraud and money laundering offences. They remain at the respective police stations. Officers seized computer hard drives, printers and counterfeit documents - all of which could be used in financial crime. Enquiries continue.
Appeal Following Fatal Collision In Crayford
Detectives from the Road Death Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Crayford on Sunday 15 May. At around 6.15am police were called to reports of a Black Volvo 560 having collided with a railway bridge on Thames Road, Crayford near the junction with Crayford Way. Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended. London Fire Brigade (LFB) also attended and extinguished the vehicle which was on fire. The driver of the vehicle, Krishnagopal Krishhnakoban, 31, from Dartford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary was inconclusive. Detective Constable Tracey Tottman-Shaw, Road Death Investigation Unit, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the actual collision or anything just prior to the collision in which Mr Krishnakoban died to contact the police, as they have vital information that could assist the investigation."

Unlicensed Minicab Driver Jailed For Killing Passenger
An unlicensed minicab driver has been jailed for eight years for causing the death of a passenger. Matab Uddin, 59, of Blackshots Lane, Essex was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and fraud. The court heard how police were called on Sunday, 17 November 2013 at about 1:45am to reports of a man injured on Essex Road.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Four arrested in car crash murder investigation
Four people have been arrested in Reading following the discovery of a man found dead in a car which had collided with a tree. Three men aged 23, 27 and 42 and a woman aged 44 are currently being held in custody at Reading police station.
