More Fine Weather For Easter

Met Office forecasters are predicting mainly fine, dry and warm conditions for most parts of the UK this Easter weekend.

Temperatures are likely to be well above the average for late April, with highs reaching the low 20s during the long weekend.

As is often the case, there will be some exceptions to the dry and warm theme. Some eastern coasts will be cooler with the chance of low cloud and mist.

Elsewhere, the high temperatures may trigger an isolated heavy shower.

The fine weather is expected to draw many people out and about, so roads across the country could be busy.

Kevin Andrews, RAC Patrol Ambassador of the Year, said: "If you're going for a day out there's nothing worse than wasting time. Allow plenty of time for your journey, particularly if you're heading for a popular resort or travelling at peak times."
