Police In Sian Case Search For Second Body

Detectives are now searching for a second body in connection with the Sian O'Callaghan murder case.

Christopher Halliwell, who was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and murder, has given officers details of second person who went missing "several years ago".

Miss O'Callaghan, 22, disappeared on Saturday after leaving a Swindon nightclub.

She was last seen in Suju nightclub in the early hours.

On Thursday her body was found in Oxfordshire after the suspect guided detectives to her location. He also led officers to an area near Eastleach, Gloucestershire, where searches are continuing.

Halliwell, a taxi driver, was arrested at a supermarket on Thursday morning in connection with the two murders.

Det Supt Steve Fulcher, of Wiltshire Police, confirmed that searches are ongoing in locations close to Uffington and Eastleach.

A post-mortem is being carried out on Miss O'Callaghan's body.
