Appeal Launched Over Nightclub Assault
Detectives from Notting Hill investigating an attack on a man at a nightclub in the Kings Road earlier this month have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to and are appealing for witnesses and information.
In the early hours of Sunday 6 March a 25-year-old man from Lambeth was at Embargo nightclub and became involved in an altercation with a man sat at a nearby table with three women. During the altercation the suspect used a nearby ice bucket to hit the victim.
The victim attempted to walk away from the suspect but the suspect continued his assault. It is not known where the suspect went after the assault.
The victim was taken by the ambulance service to hospital for treatment to his injuries where he was discharged later that day.
From the CCTV image the suspect is a white male of athletic build. He had short dark hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a light-coloured shirt with a light-coloured tie and dark jeans.
Detective Sergeant Steve Elliott, from the CID at Notting Hill said: "The suspect and victim were not known to each other and this is believed to be an unprovoked attack.
