Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Armed Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at Homebase in Croydon.

Four men entered the Homebase car park in Purley Way around 7.40am on Monday 15 November.

The men waited for staff to open the store before threatening them, and intimated having possession of a gun. They then forced members of staff into an office and tied them up. The suspects demanded the staff open the store's safe and took their car keys before making off in the stolen cars.

The two cars, a black Ford Fiesta, and a grey Ford Focus Zetec are still outstanding.

The police investigation continues.
