Nightclub Car Crash Suspect 'Surrenders'
A 26-year-old man, suspected of deliberately driving into a group of people outside a Manchester nightclub, has been arrested after handing himself in to police.
Lee Bradley, surrendered to detectives, more than two weeks after his Saab car mounted the pavement on Packer Street, outside the Dali Bar, injuring a total of fourteen people.
He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
All the injured were treated in hospital and were discharged within a few days of the incident.
Another 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but was released on bail.
The pair are thought to have been aggrieved after being refused entry to the bar earlier in the evening.
CCTV footage released by police show a car mounting the pavement near the club and ploughing into a large group of people.
A police spokesman said it was lucky nobody was killed in the collision.
