Prince Flying High
Prince William has completed his RAF flight training and is now set to qualify as a fully operational rescue pilot.
Upon graduation, Flight Lieutenant Wales, as he is known, will be presented with his squadron badge and certificate by Captain Jonathan Dixon at RAF Valley in Anglesey.
He will join 22 Squadron - C flight as a co-pilot of a Sea King helicopter.
The Prince has learned to manoeuvre the aircraft with pinpoint accuracy after 70 hours of live flying and 50 hours of simulator training.
William will now have the job of rescuing stranded mountaineers, swimmers and others in distress.
The Lieutenant said: "I am really delighted to have completed the training course with my fellow students. The course has been challenging, but I have enjoyed it immensely.
"I absolutely love flying, so it will be an honour to serve operationally with the Search and Rescue Force, helping to provide such a vital emergency service."
The Prince will be based at RAF Valley for a three-year tour of duty.

Prince To Be Posted To RAF Wales
Prince William will spend up to three years with the RAF in north Wales should he pass the necessary training, it was revealed today. The prince, who is second in line to the throne, is expected be posted to RAF Valley on Anglesey. However, he must first complete search and rescue pilot training, a St James' Palace spokesman said.

Prince William's Flight Training Takes Off
'King in Waiting', Prince William is today taking the first steps toward being someone for loyal subjects to really 'look up to' by starting his flight training with the RAF. Appropriate to the kind of skills needed to rule these days he is first learning to do 'loop the loop' in a light plane.

Prince William To Serve With Navy and RAF
Prince William is to serve on attachment to the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force next year, Clarence House. The Prince is currently serving as an armoured reconnaissance troop leader with the Household Cavalry Regiment. The four-month secondment with the RAF begins in January.

The Sun Publishes Naked Prince Harry Photos
The Sun has become the first British newspaper to publish pictures of a naked Prince Harry in Las Vegas. No other UK newspaper has published the images taken in his hotel suite which shows the the prince naked cavorting with a blond woman. In an editorial The Sun claimed there was a "clear public interest" in publishing the photographs.

Prince Harry Best Man In Royal Wedding
Prince Harry has been announced as best man at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. The couple will marry at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29 April. Kate's sister Philippa will be maid of honour. Prince William's two godchildren will also take part in the ceremony along with their four bridesmaids.
