Man Arrested Over Golf Club Burnt Body Find
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man whose badly burnt body was found on a Brighton golf course.
The body of Stefan Welch, 37, was found between the 17th and 18th holes at the Dyke Golf club on Saturday.
A post-mortem revealed that he probably died from a blow to the head.
Police believe that he was murdered elsewhere before his body was taken to the golf club and set alight.
Mr Welch, who lived at the Phase One hostel in Oriental Place, was identified by a DNA sample on the national database.
Mr Welch was last seen around 2:30pm last Friday and police have appealed for anyone who talked to him between Wednesday and Saturday last week to contact them.
A 21-year-old man from Hove is being questioned by police in connection with Mr Welch's death.

Golf Course Victim Identified
A badly burned body found on the 11th tee of a world famous golf course has been identified by police. The discovery was made by greenkeepers at Carnoustie, Angus, on Wednesday. Robert Higgins, 51, of Main Street, Barry, has been named as the victim. The area was sealed off as while officers worked at the scene. The course has re-opened today.

Burned Body Found On Scottish Golf Course
A golf course in Carnoustie in Angus has been closed, following the discovery of a badly burned body this morning, Tayside Police have confirmed. The body was discovered by officers around 6:40am this morning on the Buddon Golf Course. The area where the body was discovered has been cordoned off and an examination of the scene is being carried out.
