Driver Dies In Four Lorry Collision

A man has been killed in a collision involving four lorries on the M1 this morning.

The incident happened around 4:40am between junctions 15 at Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

The driver of one of the lorries was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three drivers received minor injuries.

All three lanes of the southbound carriageway remain completely closed from junction 15 to allow the vehicles to be recovered and an investigation to be carried out.

Fourth man arrested in Reading murder
Detectives investigating the murder of Reading teenager Mary Ann Leneghan have confirmed that a man has been arrested in London. Police said that three addresses in south London were searched early this morning and a man in his twenties was arrested. The man is currently in custody and is awaiting questioning.

Coach crash driver released on bail
The driver of a coach who was arrested after a fatal accident on the M25 has been released on police bail. The driver of the National Express coach was bailed until February 21. Two passengers - a man and a woman - were killed and many others were injured when the coach overturned on a slip road shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.
