Arrests Over Kilmarnock Baby Death
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a baby in Kilmarnock. The body of five-month-old Aaron Egan was found in a house in Fullerton Street shortly before 8:30pm last Friday. A 44-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the death, as well as on suspicion of drugs offences. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Man Severely Burned In Workshop Fire
An investigation has been launched following a fire in a Lancashire workshop which left a man severely burned. Firefighters were called to a recycling site in Coppull, near Chorley, shortly after 1:30pm on Thursday after reports of explosions. An man in his thirties was taken to Whiston Hospital in Merseyside where he is being treated in the burns unit. His condition is not yet known. The area was cordoned off, but investigators are now at the site.
Arrests Follow Crack Cocaine Seizure
Four people have been arrested following the discovery of a substantial quantity of drugs at a house in Moston, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed. Police investigating the breach of a supervision order on July 21 went to a house in Kingscliffe Street and found what is believed to be crack cocaine with an estimated street value of around £5,000. Three women, aged 19, 18 and 50 and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. The 18-year-old woman was also arrested for breach of a supervision order and breach of an anti-social behaviour order.

A gang of criminals who ran a lucrative drug dealing network from a car tyre shop in Brixton were sentenced last week to a total of 81 years in prison. Nine men, who were previously convicted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, appeared at Kingston Crown Court today to hear their sentences.

Men Jailed Over £1m Drugs Plot
Four men have been jailed at Kingston Crown Court for a total of more than 12 years for their roles in a £1 million drugs conspiracy. Krishnan Rai, Edwin Kapoor, Paul Metten and Wesley Browne all pleaded guilty on 21 June to their various roles in a conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs.

Children Fire Death Arrests Made
Two men have been arrested in connection with a house fire that killed six children in May, according to Derbyshire Police. The two men, aged 45 and 49, are being questioned over the fire in Victory Road.
