PO Raiders Guilty Of Murder
Three men were today convicted of the murder of Craig Hodson-Walker who was shot dead in a raid at a Post Office in Worcestershire.
A fourth member of the gang was cleared of murder and attempted murder but had already admitted attempted robbery.
Christopher Peter Morrissey, aged 32, of Elmay Road, Sheldon, Birmingham, Declan Paul Morrissey, 33, of Shirley Park Road, Solihull, and Anselm Ribera, 34, of Topfield House, Druids Lane, Druids Heath, Birmingham, were all convicted of murder and attempt murder at Birmingham Crown Court at the end of a lengthy trial.
A jury found them guilty of the murder of Craig Hodson-Walker, aged 29, who died from a single gun shot after they burst into the Fairfield General Stores on Stourbridge Road on January 9 this year.
They were also convicted of the attempted murder of Craig's father Kenneth, who was also shot but survived, and charges of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, and attempted robbery at the post office stores.
They had denied all the charges.
Their getaway driver Adrian Vincent Snape, 25, of Camelot Way, Small Heath, Birmingham, was found not guilty of murder, the attempted murder and possessing a firearm but admitted the attempted robbery at Fairfield.
All four men will be sentenced on Friday 18 December at Birmingham Crown Court by Judge Treacy.

Shot Belfast Man Recovering
A 35-year-old man has been shot twice in the leg inside a house in Twinbrook in Co Antrim on the outskirts of Belfast. A young girl and a woman were in the house in the Summerhill Drive area when the attack happened on Wednesday night. However, it is not believed that the man's injuries are life threatening.

15-Year-Old Charged With Grove Lane Murder
Police investigating the murder of Lukasz Furmanek in Birmingham have charged a 15-year-old boy. The teenager, from the Small Heath area, was arrested in Folkestone on Wednesday afternoon. He is due to appear before Birmingham Youth Court today, charged with murder and the attempted murder of another 31-year-old man.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Arrests Made Over 2006 Double Murder
Officers from Trident, investigating gun crime in the capital, have arrested one man and two women in connection with the murder of Jordan Jackson and Leyla Djemal-Northcott in 2006. Following new information, police used a specialist diving team to search the Regent's Canal for the murder weapon.

Gwent Police have launched an attempted murder inquiry following the shooting of two brothers in Abergavenny on Sunday. Police were called to reports of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon on Sunday afternoon. Two men, brothers Gareth Harris, 17, and Anthony Price, 20, were found in the garden of a house, with gunshot wounds to the lower legs.
