Arrests Follow Fatal Bilston Shooting
Three men have been held in connection with a fatal shooting in Bilston at the weekend.
The 50-year-old male victim was shot in Tropical Harmony Nightclub at around 4.30am on Saturday morning.
A second man was injured at the nightclub. His injuries are not life threatening.
A murder investigation was immediately launched, with detectives from the Major Investigation Unit and local CID working through the weekend.
Three men have now been detained by police.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, another, aged 36, was held on suspicion of murder and assisting an offender.
The third man, 34, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to wound and perverting the course of justice.
Police have still not named the murdered man. Family Liaison Officers are working closely with his family, a West Midlands Police spokesman said.
It is believed there were around 50 people in the club at the time of the incident.
Detectives have appealed for these people, and anybody else who may have witnessed anything, to come forward.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

Double Murder Suspect Arrested
Following the arrest on Sunday morning of double murder suspect James Allen police have appealed for people to check on any friends and relatives who could have come into contact him. Detectives made the appeal after 36-year-old Allen was arrested early on Sunday after being spotted by an off-duty officer on his way to work in Leeds.

Man Charged With Murder Of Homeless Man
A man has been charged with the murder of a homeless man who died after an attack at a bus stop in the West-Midlands last month. The 35-year-old from Smethwick was charged and remanded in custody on Sunday, to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

Man Jailed Over Murder Of Romanian Man
An illegal immigrant has been jailed for life for murdering a Romanian man in Manchester. Haroon Ahmed Niged, 27, of Stockport Road, Longsite, pleaded guilty at Manchester Crown Court to murdering Marian-ion Matei. Niged was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum sentence of 14 years.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.
