Man Arrested Over Manchester Children's Deaths
A man has been arrested after two children, who were found unconscious in a house in Manchester, died later in hospital.
The children, a brother and sister aged two and four, were found after police were called to a house in the Whalley Range area of the city on Wednesday morning.
They were taken to hospital, but both later died.
A 37-year-old man, reported to be the children's father who is separated from their mother, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Forensic investigators are currently examining the scene and inquiries are continuing.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after five children died in a house fire on Victoria Road in Derby. The ages of the children who died range from five up to 10-years-old. A sixth child, aged 13, has been transferred to a hospital in Birmingham for specialist treatment.

A man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two children in a collision in Handsworth. Emergency services were called at midday on Sunday 21 June to reports that a car had collided with five pedestrians, including four children. All five where taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
